Jani was great, he did a thorough inspection and gave me a really helpful report of upcoming maintenance for the car. Clear and easy comminucation and quick response. He also didn't have any hidden add on costs like other places I looked at. I highly recommend him!

He did an exeptional service and he checked everything properly! He was quick and the report was very detailed and I was able to evaluate and negotiate a lot better. Even tho the service cost some money, in the end he saved me even more cause I had more to negotiate with. 100% recommended!

Fantastic service! Excellent communication and flexibility for an inspection on short notice. The inspection report was very detailed and Jani talked me through all the findings and recommendations. I would happily recommend him to anyone looking at buying a used car 😊

Jani is friendly and approachable. I messed him around with first inspection (seller sold it when were due to view). Despite this he was very understanding and when inspecting next car he very quickly found big problems. He didn't want to take my money insisting I pay what I could afford and not the full price. Good experience all around and will be using him again. Hopefully I find a decent car soon! Thank you Jani for saving me $$$

What We Find

This Is What You Are Paying Us to Catch.

Photographs from real inspections. Every one of these was on a car someone was about to buy.

  • A torn constant velocity joint boot with grease sprayed over nearby suspension components

Split CV boot throwing grease across the suspension. Left alone, the joint fails.

  • Turbocharger area showing oil wetness and accumulated residue around the turbo oil line and surrounding components.

Oil wetness and residue visible around the turbocharger oil line/connection area. This may indicate oil seepage from the turbo oil feed or return line, associated seals, or a nearby engine oil source. Further cleaning and monitoring is recommended to confirm the exact source.

  • A close view of a ribbed accessory drive belt running around a pulley, seen from under the vehicle

The accessory drive belt, checked on the car rather than taken on trust. The belt itself is cheap. What it takes out with it when it lets go is not.

  • Engine mount showing significant deterioration, with the rubber section visibly cracked and separated. This can allow excessive engine movement and contribute to increased vibration or knocking under acceleration and load.

Close-up of an engine mount showing heavily deteriorated and separated rubber around the mount.

  • A diagnostic tablet running a full system scan inside a Mercedes, with warning lights showing on the instrument cluster

A European car with warning lights lit, every module interrogated one by one. This is what the Advanced Diagnostic tier is for, and it is the check a code reader cannot do.

What We Get Handed

Every Car Is Different. Every Inspection Should Be Too.

From everyday hatchbacks and family SUVs to 4WDs, utes, European and classic vehicles. Each inspection considers the vehicle’s age, condition and design, with the findings explained clearly and practically.

  • A spotless Honda i-VTEC engine bay with the bonnet up at an inspection
  • A green Lamborghini Huracan Spyder photographed at an inspection
  • A row of classic Jaguars and a Daimler inside a collector car showroom
  • A white Toyota Prado raised on ramps with its bonnet up in a dealership yard
  • A Toyota Land Cruiser GXL at a dealership with a Sold sticker in the windscreen
  • The steering wheel and dashboard of a Lamborghini Huracan

Questions

Before You Book

How soon can you come?

Usually within 1–3 days, and same-day inspections may be available. Our live booking calendar shows the current available times. If you can’t find a suitable time, call, text or WhatsApp us on 0451 237 048 and we’ll try to arrange one.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

No deposit is required. Book your inspection time first and payment can be made on the day of the inspection.

Do you go to dealerships and auction yards?

Yes. We are a mobile inspection service and can inspect vehicles at dealerships, private sellers and auction yards, provided there is safe access and enough suitable space to carry out the inspection.

What if the car sells before you get there?

No problem. Just let us know as soon as possible by calling, texting or replying to your booking confirmation. The earlier you let us know, the easier it is to release the inspection time.

Do you check whether there is finance owing?

Yes. A PPSR check can identify whether the vehicle is recorded as stolen, written off or has a registered security interest. PPSR is included with our Comprehensive and Advanced inspection packages and can be added to other packages.

Do I need to be there?

No. You’re welcome to attend, but you don’t need to be there. We can coordinate access with the seller or dealership, carry out the inspection, then contact you with the findings and send your written report.

How much does a pre-purchase car inspection cost in Perth?

Our inspections start from $220 for Standard, $280 for Comprehensive and $350 for Advanced Diagnostic. Pricing is fixed and shown upfront, so you know the inspection cost before booking.

How far do you travel?

We provide mobile inspections across the Perth area. Locations within approximately a 30 km radius of Perth CBD are covered at no additional travel charge. We can also travel further, with any additional travel fee confirmed with you beforehand.

How long does a pre-purchase inspection take?

It depends on the level. A Standard inspection takes about 40 minutes, Comprehensive 60 to 90 minutes, and an Advanced Diagnostic 120 minutes or more. You get a phone call the moment it is finished, then a written report with photographs.

Can you inspect a car before I buy it interstate or sight unseen?

Yes. This is one of the more common reasons people book us. We go to the car, inspect it, and call you with what we found before any money changes hands. You do not need to be there, and you can pay online in advance if that is easier than settling on the day.

How do you inspect underneath the car?

We don’t just look underneath from ground level. Where safe and suitable, we use portable vehicle ramps to raise the car for a closer underbody inspection. This gives better visibility of areas where oil leaks, suspension wear, damaged components and other issues can otherwise be difficult to spot.

Do you check the service history?

Yes, where service records, logbooks or invoices are available at the time of inspection. We review the available history and can highlight missing records or maintenance items that may need further confirmation.

Do you road test the vehicle?

Where the vehicle is registered, safe to drive and permission is available, a road test is carried out as part of the applicable inspection. This helps assess general engine and transmission operation, steering, braking, suspension behaviour, vibration and abnormal noises.

When will I receive my report?

Once the inspection is complete, we’ll contact you with the main findings and highlight anything important straight away. Your complete PDF inspection report, with detailed explanations of the findings, will follow within the next few hours.

Still Deciding on the Car?

Most buyers have a day or two before the seller moves on. Pick a time now, pay nothing today, and know what you are buying before you hand over the money.
